Begeleider groepsbijeenkomsten vrouwen (opvanglocaties Arnhem)

At the moment, we are only looking for volunteers who speak one or more of these languages: Arabic, French, Somali, Tigrinya, Farsi/Dari, Punjabi, Spanish. We have a sufficient number of volunteers with other language skills. As a volunteer, you guide weekly women-only meetings, create a warm and respectful space, and offer support to those who need it most. You will be working at one of the asylum centres in Arnhem.

Who are you?

• Requirement: You speak Arabic, French, Somali, Tigrinya, Farsi / Dari, Punjabi or Spanish.

• You also speak either English or Dutch. English is enough (no Dutch needed)

• Availability; at least 6 hours a week.

• The intention to be available for at least a year.

• Willingness to participate in training courses of VluchtelingenWerk Nederland.

• Affinity with refugees and asylum seekers.

• Good social and communication skills.

• The ability to identify personal problems and deal with them confidentially.
