Volunteer at women's meetings in Arnhem

As a volunteer, you guide weekly women-only meetings, create a warm and respectful space, and offer support to those who need it most. You will be working at one of the asylum centres in Arnhem.

Who are you?

• You speak either English or Dutch. English is enough (no Dutch needed)

• Knowledge of Tigrinya, Arabic or Somali is a plus.

• You live in or near Arnhem.

• Availability; at least 6 hours a week on one of these days:

  • Azc Elderhoeve, Friday 10:30 - 13:00

  • Location Postillion Hotel, Wednesday 9:30 - 12:00

  • Location Rijnkade cruiseships, Tuesday 14:00 - 16:30

  The intention to be available for at least 6 months.

• Affinity with refugees and asylum seekers.

• Good social and communication skills, also when faced with language barriers.

• The ability to identify personal problems and deal with them confidentially.
